Successful Steps to Early Learning

Our child care school follows the belief; play is the child’s work.  Children learn by doing. They learn best in an environment that supports exploration and active learning, and fosters the development of trust, autonomy and initiative.  This fundamental philosophy draws on the collective research and studies of early childhood experts that is the basis of our program, “Successful Steps to Early Learning.”

Children learn by:

·       Interacting with their physical environment.

·       Interacting with other children and adults.

·       Observing what happens in these interactions.

When children interact with their environment, they are making decisions and

discoveries that in turn help them develop learning concepts and make sense of their

worlds.

We play a very important role by providing an environment that helps children acquire

these skills.  Children's Enchanted day care school believes our efforts should focus

on providing daily opportunities, indoors and outdoors, that:
