The Children entrusted to our care will receive the best in learning in an atmosphere of acceptance, understanding, respect and love.

The Parents of our children will receive support in meeting the developmental and educational needs of their children and as customers of our service will be treated with courtesy and respect.

Lesli Atkins ~ Director

I graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 1997. I attended San Jacinto, where I recieved my Associate's Degree in Child Development. I have taken numerous child development and business courses. I started working in daycare while I was in high school. I was an Assistant Director for nine years. I have always enjoyed being around children and watching them grow.

Sylvia Hicks ~ Owner

I graduated from the University of Houston in 1984 with a BBA in accounting.  After working several years in the accounting field, my daughter Kerri and I decided we would like to open our business.

We decided to build Children’s Enchanted Learning Center because of Kerri’s love for children and her dream of having her own daycare.  We began planning for the center in October of 1999. Construction began in April of 2001 and was completed in October of 2001. We just celebrated our four-year anniversary and the success of the Center is far beyond our expectations. Our success is due mainly to you, our parents, and your children.  Thanks to all of you.

Staff

All staff is CPR and first-aid certified.  They are required to complete 15 hours of classes
in early childhood development each year. We take every step to provide a quality learning center that not only provides exceptional infant care and day care services, but focuses on child safety and development.

Mission Statement

Our mission as an early education and early learning center is to provide a clean, safe developmentally appropriate environment for children to learn and play, while their parents enjoy peace of mind.

Security Information

We offer the following security features at our center:
·       Cameras installed in each room, the playground, and the front lobby,
·       Keypad security lock at front door.

Christi Watkins ~ Assistant Director

I have been in childcare for over 10 years. I have attended numerous child development trainings. I love working with children and enjoy helping them grow into independent people.
